Custodial Bank Accounts
Bank or credit union partners provide savings accounts or sub-accounts for each child. Custodial bank accounts are usually provided in “opt-out” programs, where every child receives an account unless their family declines. Outcome Tracker works with your financial partners to receive daily transactions for each of these accounts. Your program’s parents, guardians, and families can view their savings and incentives in their online portal.
529 Accounts
Your state’s 529 plan provides the savings vehicle for participating families. Outcome Tracker integrates your CSA program with Ascensus College Savings and TIAA to invest each child's incentives in an Omnibus 529 account, allow families to create, link, and manage their 529 accounts, and show the growth of the child's incentives and savings.
Pooled Savings Accounts
Rather than an account for each child, pooled programs create one account at the financial institution to hold all savings deposits. Each family’s deposits into the pooled account are “tagged” with their child’s Outcome Tracker information. We work with the financial institution to establish tellers’ receipting process and receive nightly transaction updates. Parents and guardians can review savings and student incentives on their portals and in reports.
Link Your Own Account
Let families link to an existing savings account from their own financial institution. Outcome Tracker lets the family choose a bank, enter their credentials, and link their account to the CSA program.
